ZU-23-2 CERBER combines an automated twin 23 mm mount, an electro-optical module, the CERBER-23 fire-control system and the RADA RPS-42 AESA radar on a mobile platform.

System architecture
Detection, tracking and remote operation.
The platform integrates day and thermal observation with rangefinding, radar and fire control. Automatic target acquisition and tracking work with trajectory calculation and ballistic lead computation.
The system accepts external target cues and supports remote operation from a protected position. Independent power provides up to six hours of battery autonomy.
AESA radar
RADA RPS-42 uses an active electronically scanned array and operates in the S-band.
Electric control
Powered control manages electric triggering, firing sequences and round counting, replacing mechanical pedals and levers.
Remote operation
Operation from a protected position, with external target cues for automatic weapon laying.
